We will never be free until a cure is found....the constant blood draws, lab tests and monitoring of health keep us bound and tied. Where's the cure?

I am a Native American - Jicarilla Apache living with HIV/AIDS since 1991. As a Native I see there is NO HIV/AIDS EDUCATION OR $$$ TO ASSIST WITH MEDICATION OR THE RYAN WHITE CARE ACT. NATIVE PEOPLE ARE LEFT OUT. Even when National Organizations say "WE ADVOCATE FOR NATIVE AMERICAN and ALASKAN NATIVES".

I chose a playground because children are the future for our world HIV can damage a child’s life through its effects directly on the child, on that child’s family, and on the community that the child is growing up in. We must fight for a cure to ease the suffering of those today, and rid of the suffering in the future.

From - Where's the Cure? - A photo mesage to the world about AIDS

I thought you'd like this shot.

It's a part of "Where's the Cure?" an online photo gallery from amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research. It's designed to deliver a real, tangible message to the world about AIDS/HIV.

Check it out, browse the galleries, register to vote for your favorites - and upload one of your own.

Selected photos fromt he galleries will be published in the "Where's the Cure?" book, which will be available at blurb.com. Proceeds will benefit amfAR's ongoing research efforts. A copy of the book will be delivered to President Obama on his 100th day in office, accompanied by an amfAR petition -- signed by thousands on World AIDS Day -- asking for his personal commitment to the expansion of research to find a cure for AIDS/HIV.

Join with me - ask the question, "Where's the Cure?" And send a message.
