New York, NY, June 1, 2015 — On Tuesday, June 16, 2015, amfAR will hold its sixth annual Inspiration Gala New York at Spring Studios, honoring Miley Cyrus and Andy Cohen for their longtime support towards the fight against AIDS. Hosted by Anderson Cooper, the black-tie gala will also feature an auction of exquisite items, a sensational menswear runway show, and unforgettable live entertainment. The theme of this year’s fashion show and auction is “Street Art/Street Fashion”.
Cyrus has continued to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS through her support of amfAR, the M·A·C AIDS Fund, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation. She is currently the spokesperson for M·A·C Cosmetics’ VIVA GLAM campaign, where every cent of the lip products go towards the M·A·C AIDS Fund helping people globally affected by the disease. Since its inception, the M·A·C AIDS Fund has raised more than $380 million dollars.
